

Thompson is located in beautiful northern Manitoba. Thompson is Manitoba's largest northern community and is frequently called the "Hub of the North.” With a population of over 13,000, Thompson is a thriving community, home to Inco and one of the worlds largest nickel mines in the world.

From South of Thompson
- You enter Thompson on highway #6.
- Stay on this road as you drive through the city. Within Thompson the road is called Mystery Lake Road.
- As you leave Thompson you will cross a short bridge. You are now back on highway #6.
- In about 4 km (2.4 mi) you will see the Airport exit on your right.
From North of the Airport
- Heading south on highway #280, turn left onto highway #6.
- In about 5 km (3 mi) you will see the Airport exit on your left.
- Heading south on highway #391, continue straight when the road turns into highway #6.
- In about 5 km (3 mi) you will see the Airport exit on your left.
